Training & Mobile Training
Through advanced facilities and qualified International training experts, JK9 provides all specialized training courses for K9 teams in military units, Police, and private security agencies and companies authorized to work in K9 field. Course duration and curriculum depend on trainees’ previous experiences, K9 team mission task and trained unit objectives.
The JNK9C can also provide mobile training teams in all specializations related to K9 teams mission tasks, to carry out training courses for units, whether inside or outside Jordan, based on client requirements.
Training Support & Facility Rentals
JK9 teams can conduct their training programs and activities at JK9 to take advantage of its state-of-the-art training facilities, and can seek the help of our qualified International training experts at the center.
The center can provide the trained teams with the necessary training equipment such as weapons, ammunition (live rounds, Simunitions and blanks for multiple caliber platforms), training aids such as real explosives and real narcotics. The center also provides the trained teams with all support services that are requested, such as housing, food, transportation, and medical services for both K9s and handlers.
K9 Teams Certification
The Certification test at JK9 was designed in accordance with the latest international practices and standards in certifying K9 teams according to their mission tasks. Based on the JK9 certification standards, the K9 and the K9 handler are certified as a team to assure mission readiness. This certification also applies when a new handler is assigned to a new or different MWD.
Only a certified Master Trainer may conduct certification testing. Testing is on a pass / fail basis. K9 teams that fail the certification test must undergo 30 days of intensive training to qualify for the test again.
This certification is valid for 1 year from the day of passing. After 1 year a re-certification must be completed and passed.
Detection Services
The Jordan National K9 Center is currently providing K9 Detection teams (for the detection of explosives, narcotics, weapons or any other items required) to support customers, with the aim of providing a safe environment for High value sites or important events and activities.
Consultation Services
The Jordan National K9 Center can support customers with consulting services in all areas related to K9 programs management and implementation, from the planning and design stage to the implementation and operation of the program.
JK9 has a team capable of providing consultations in the fields of infrastructure, breeding and development, training, healthcare, quality and occupational safety, according to customers’ requests, in order to ensure the development and improvement of operations and performance.
The center can also, upon request, carry out field visits to existing K9 programs through a team of International experts to evaluate these programs on the ground and make recommendations to enhance or improve your existing program.
