Police SWAT Course
A Jordanian National center of excellence that achieves international standards in all K9 related services.
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks (20 – 30 working days)

Pre-Requisites
- Physically fit
- Must be able to list 40 kg
- Must attend course with his/her assigned K9
- Must be assigned or employed by a Police or Public Security unit
- Must be willing to wear K9 bite clothing or equipment
- Must have all necessary K9 and personal equipment as per mission task
Course Description
This course is designed to train and prepare SWAT K9 Handlers and insure they are mission ready. Police SWAT dogs work different scenarios than Special operation. This course was designed by expert K9 Trainers with many years in training and working as police. Training will include theoretical and practical exercises with different scenarios. Upon completion, trainees must successfully pass the JNK9C K-9 SWAT K9 certification test.

- Proper movement and approaches with K9 Team
- Proper tactical entries with entire SWAT team members
- Building searches with SWAT Team members
- Handler protection
- K9 Transport and escort
- Call offs
- Proper tactical approach to objective
- Off leash and long line building searches
- Shooting scenarios with K9
- Smoke scenarios
- Tactical movements using hand signals and voice commands
