Roadside IED and Stand-alone VBIED’s Detection Course

Pre-Requisites

  • Physically fit
  • Must attend with assigned K9
  • Must be assigned to a government K9 unit or accredited association
  • Must have all necessary equipment needed for mission task

Course Description

This course was designed to prepare explosive detection or dual purpose K9s on proper techniques on how to deploy the K9 on any roadside explosive device. This course is designed from real life combat K9 missions. There are many ways to properly deploy a K9 team in many different IED scenarios and this course will cover ways to successfully accomplish that mission.
